Visionopen NaturePad 5X — Botanical and Specimen Desktop Magnifier

The Visionopen NaturePad 5X is designed for natural history study, botanical specimen examination, insect collection inspection, fossil identification, and educational science applications where the magnifier must accommodate specimens of varied size and three-dimensional form rather than flat documents. The open-frame arm design allows three-dimensional objects up to 120mm in height to be placed beneath the lens without obstruction — a configuration that closed-frame desk magnifiers with full base platforms cannot accommodate. The 90mm optical glass lens provides 5x magnification with a 70mm working distance — large enough to manipulate insects, leaves, crystals, and mineral specimens beneath the lens with tweezers or forceps. The specimen platform is a reversible white/black card-covered platform: white for dark specimens such as insects and minerals, black for light specimens such as pale botanical material. The LED ring provides 16 LEDs at 5500K neutral white — a color temperature that renders natural specimen colors accurately without the yellow shift of warm-white LEDs.
